Executive Committee and Executive Board

Swiss Re’s Board of Directors has delegated the conduct of business operations to the Executive Committee and the Executive Board.

The Executive Committee comprises the CEO and the Heads of Global Functions. It is responsible for managing and coordinating the Group's operations. The Executive Board comprises the members of the Executive Committee and further senior executives. It supports the Executive Committee as a sounding forum and reviews the Group's strategy and business policies as well as the Group Plan.

Members of the Executive Committee and the Executive Board are appointed by the Board of Directors upon recommendation of the Chief Executive Officer and after consultation with the Compensation Committee.
